So the the USA Men’s team needed to beat Egypt by 3 goals in order to advance, and they did it! The entered into the next semi final round. They beat Spain!! Of all teams it was Spain and they won, 2-0!! USA then gained a shot in the final against Brazil. Well I’m sure most of you weren’t under a rock when they took a 2-0 lead on those guys only to finally realize that they are Brazil we’re just the USA, and what are we doing leading you 2-0 in the final of a soccer game? Well, USA lost 3-2. Anyway it was a huge lift for USA just to beat Spain, and to go up 2-0 on Brazil.

Which takes us to World Cup Qualifying. In case you didn’t know, USA mens soccer won their Qualifying group going 6-2-2. with the highest goal count the most points and tied with the two other teams that are going to the World Cup in Goal differential.( Mexico and Honduras). It wasn’t so easy but they did it. The USA Men’s soccer team is good! Midfielder, Landon Donovan is as good as they come, along with now world class Goal Keeper Tim Howard, striker Jozy Altidore,Brian Ching,Conor Casey and a host  of other very good players, ready to strut their stuff for the USA.
